It’s important to know your body measurements because it makes shopping hassle free.

Outseam

Measure along the outside of your leg from your natural waistline (inline from your belly button), or from your hip bone, to the top of your ankle where you want your pants to fall

Hip to Hem

Measure form your hip bone, down to wherever you want your skirt to end

Inseam

Measure from the inner leg at the crotch, all the way to the bottom of the ankle where you want your pants to fall

Knee

Either measure around the knee loosely while standing, or sit down with your knees bent and measure around the knee

Calf

Measure around the fullest part of your calf. Allow the tape to be loose enough to fit one or two fingers

Ankle

Measure the circumference of the narrowest part of your ankle and keep the tape fairly loose

Thigh

Measure around the thickest part of your thigh, just below your crotch

Waist to Hip Bone

Start from your natural waist, down the side of your body, to your hip bone

Full Shoulder Width

The tape should start at one shoulder joint and end at the other, straight across your back

Bicep

Measure around the widest part of your bicep, unflexed, with one finger’s width space between the tape and your skin

Sleeve Length

Start on the base of the neck on the same line as your shoulders, and continue to the edge of the shoulder. Pinch off the tape measure at the end of the shoulder so you can continue moving. Measure from shoulder to just about an inch below the wrist. Keep elbow slightly bent.

Wrist

Measure your wrist circumference, just above your hand. This is the sleeve opening, so keep it fairly loose.
