The workflow
One set of measurements. Every brand, on every shopping trip.
Dress Measurement stores your measurements once and uses them to recommend the right size across 70+ brands. Available on iPhone and Android.
Take measurements once, in cm or inches
Open the app, choose a profile, and capture your measurements one of two ways: manually with a tape measure using the illustrated guide, or via Body Scan, where you scan yourself with your phone camera and then draw on the screen at the exact points you want measured. Dress Measurement supports both centimetres and inches; you choose per measurement, and the app remembers your preference. On the manual path, the on-screen diagram shows each measurement point so you know exactly where to place the tape, whether you are measuring yourself or a client.
There is no account required and no login. Your measurements live on your device and in iCloud on iPhone, or on-device on Android.

Save measurements to a named profile
Each profile holds a complete set of body measurements under a name you choose. Create one profile for yourself, one for each family member, or one for every client in your tailoring shop. Profiles are independent; updating one never touches another.
The Free tier gives you 7 profiles on iPhone and Android. Tailor Shop subscribers get unlimited profiles with no cap.

Get size recommendations across 70+ brands
Choose a brand and a garment category and Dress Measurement compares your measurements against that brand's size chart. The result is a confidence-rated recommendation: high confidence means your measurements are well inside the size range; medium means one measurement sits near a boundary; low means you should check more carefully before ordering.
Size recommendations are free for every user on every tier. No subscription required.
Sync via iCloud on iPhone, local on Android
On iPhone, Dress Measurement syncs your profiles and measurements to iCloud automatically. If you use multiple Apple devices signed into the same account, your data stays consistent across all of them. On Android, your profiles are stored on-device; manual CSV export lets you move data when you need it.
iCloud sync requires iCloud to be enabled on your device. No separate account or sign-in is needed for Dress Measurement itself.
Export to PDF or CSV with Tailor Shop
Tailor Shop subscribers can export any profile as a formatted PDF or a flat CSV file. PDF export is ready to print or attach to an order; CSV export feeds directly into spreadsheets, pattern-making software, or order management systems used by cutters and manufacturing partners.
PDF export is also available on the Free tier. CSV export requires Tailor Shop.

CSV (Tailor Shop)

Add photos and notes per profile with Tailor Shop
Tailor Shop subscribers can attach photos and free-text notes to any profile. Use photos to capture fitting context, posture notes, or garment references. Use notes to record client preferences, special considerations, or alteration history. Everything stays attached to the profile and travels with it in iCloud sync on iPhone.
Photos and notes are visible only to the device owner. They are never shared with Dress Measurement or any third party.
