Size recommendations

Know your size before you order.

Dress Measurement matches your body measurements to the size charts of 70+ brands and gives you a confidence-rated recommendation. Free for every user, no subscription needed.

What size am I in this brand?

Dress Measurement compares your saved measurements against the brand's published size chart and returns a recommendation in seconds, for brands like H&M, Zara, Uniqlo, and Lululemon. Enter your measurements once in the app; every brand recommendation uses the same profile. There is no need to look up individual brand charts, convert units, or guess which size spans your proportions.

The recommendation covers tops, bottoms, dresses, and activewear where the brand's size chart includes the relevant measurement ranges. Categories not covered by a brand's chart are not shown.

How confidence levels work

Every recommendation comes with a confidence level that tells you how cleanly your measurements fit into one size. Confidence reflects measurement alignment, not brand quality. A high-confidence result means the algorithm found a clear match; a low-confidence result means at least one measurement sits outside the expected range for any single size. If you have set a fit preference (slim or relaxed) on your profile, the app may adjust your size up or down and mark the result as "Preferred fit."

Preferred fit

Shown when you have set a fit preference in your profile. Dress Measurement nudged the size up or down because your measurements land at the edge of the range and the adjacent size still matches cleanly.

High confidence

All relevant measurements fall clearly within one size range. Strong alignment across bust, waist, hip, or chest measurements.

Medium confidence

Most measurements point to one size, but one sits near a size boundary. The recommendation is still valid; check the borderline measurement before ordering.

Low confidence

Measurements span more than one size range. The algorithm returns a best-fit result, but you should verify directly against the brand's chart or consider size-up for comfort fit.

Free for every user on every tier

Size recommendations are not a paid feature. Every Dress Measurement user, including those on the Free tier, can check their size in any supported brand at any time. This is deliberate: helping you find the right size is the core value of the app, and putting it behind a paywall would undermine that.

The Tailor Shop subscription unlocks unlimited profiles, custom measurements, photos, notes, and CSV export. It does not gate size recommendations.

Supported brands today

Dress Measurement currently supports size recommendations for 70+ brands including H&M, Zara, Nike, Uniqlo, Lululemon, ASOS, Gap, Banana Republic, Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren, and many more. The full list is available on the brands page and is updated as new brands are added.

Requesting a new brand

We add brands when there is sufficient demand for a given label. If your preferred brand is not in the app, email us with a request and we will prioritize it. Please include the brand name and, if known, a link to their measurement-based size chart. Brands that publish detailed numeric size charts (with bust, waist, hip measurements rather than S/M/L only) are added fastest.
